Our Edx Education® Number Balance is a hands-on maths manipulative designed to make abstract number concepts tangible and visual. Measuring 65cm long when assembled, this large-scale balance beam gives children aged 6 and above the opportunity to physically explore how numbers work by hanging weights at numbered positions and watching the beam respond in real time. The 2-piece beam design makes it easy to disassemble and store, while the included sliding compensators allow fine-tuning of the balancing arms for accurate, reliable results every time.
Grounded in active, play-based learning, the Number Balance supports children in exploring all four operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
