Our Edx Education® Number Balance lets children use their numeracy skills to explore the concept of balance.
This number balance is an excellent tool for teaching children abstract number concepts along with simple addition and multiplication. The 2-piece beam measures 65cm in length when assembled and separates for easy storage, while the sliding compensators fine-tune the balancing arms. Large numbers 1 to 10 are printed on both sides for easy use, and the set comes with 20 x 10g hanging weights and a Downloadable Activity Guide.
When children hang weights to solve examples such as 7 + 3 = 10, the level beam shows them straight away that both sides are equal.
