Home Learning Quick Curriculum Guide for UK Parents & Teachers

Home Learning Quick Curriculum Guide for UK Parents & Teachers
It’s back to school for many children in the UK and Edx Education would love to share with our community some quick curriculum guides. Many families have been home learning over the past year, so its great to see what our children will be learning this year.
One of our many education experts has developed the home learning quick curriculum guides for UK parents, caregivers and teachers for Foundation/Reception year through to Year 4.
These guides have been designed by pedagogy learning expert Dr Paul Swan & Linda Marshall to help both parents and teachers with home learning.

Understanding the national curriculum.
The activity ideas only use a minimum of material, most of which can be found at home and can be easily adapted to the classroom.
Each module contains a simplified explanation of what the child will be learning according to the curriculum. Followed by a single activity or games idea.
In places where there is ambiguity, Dr Paul Swan and Linda Marshall have used their professional judgment to put forward what they feel is appropriate for students at this year level.
